When to consider flex face:
If you have a project that has any 4 of the following 7 circumstances, flex face could be the right choice for your project.
Short turnaround time. Fast to produce for quicker turnaround time.
Tricky installation. Flex face is lightweight so there is more flexibility on locations and install crew and equipment which lowers installation costs.
Future changeability. Easier to print a new graphics and install on site than acrylic or aluminum would be.
Illumination. The entire face illuminates nicely for nighttime visibility.
Quality look for the budget. Often looks no different than a heavier, more highly engineered ($$) sign. But also looks much nicer than an acrylic faces
Gotta go big. Can go bigger with PVC printing than you can with acrylic or composite materials.
Warranty is important. Depending on the chosen substrate the warranty can be 6+ years for this material. In some cases, depending on the graphic treatment, the warranty can be better than paint.
So, the next time you have a sign project, let a flex face sign be part of the conversation.
