Oppor­tu­ni­ty as a Paint Booth Oper­a­tor: Bring the col­or to Image­First™ Signs!

You’ll have the largest ​“office” on the team, our auto­mo­tive grade paint booth is ready for you.

What you’ll be doing:

• In charge of all aspects of exte­ri­or sig­nage fin­ish­ing which includes paint and fin­ish­ing coats in accor­dance with pro­duc­tion sched­ules and/​or cus­tomer specifications.
• Man­ag­ing the set-up and main­te­nance of your work areas and oper­at­ing paint­ing equip­ment in accor­dance with safe­ty pro­ce­dures. Main­tain spray guns, paint booth, and equipment.
• Ensure sched­ul­ing of your work aligns smooth­ly and tran­si­tions with the flow of the pro­duc­tion department.
• Demand high-qual­i­ty and high stan­dards for your team’s work by inspec­tion of mate­ri­als, col­or adjust­ments, and fix­ing defects where need­ed. Always ensur­ing a qual­i­ty fin­ish after curing.
• Help­ing out where need­ed and learn­ing all aspects of the business.
  
  

Qual­i­ties that make a great fit:

• The desire to thrive in a fast paced envi­ron­ment and will­ing­ness to step up, fol­low detailed instruc­tions, and help out in oth­er areas when/​if need­ed as a team player.
• Abil­i­ty to read and inter­pret spec­i­fi­ca­tions, prod­uct labels, reg­u­la­tions, pro­duc­tion sched­ules, blue­prints, draw­ings and plans with pro­fi­cien­cy in basic math and measures.
• A clear and con­sis­tent under­stand­ing and adher­ence to indus­try safe­ty stan­dards which includes wear­ing a face res­pi­ra­tor and bodysuit.
• Abil­i­ty to stand for long peri­ods and occa­sion­al­ly lift and/​or move items weigh­ing up to 100 pounds.
• A High School Diploma/​GED/​or man­u­fac­tur­ing experience.
